The Border Patrol are universally in agreement that the wall is a huge help to them in protecting the border when they are allowed to protect it.

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) universally hates being called "Border Patrol".

There are far superior methods to protecting our border, and we should be spending our money on those methods than on a completely useless wall.

There are thermal systems which can create an infinitely high electronic wall, and which allow a handful of border protection agents to cover a much larger area. These are already in use on sections of our border and are very effective.

Also, most of the drugs smuggled into the US to meet our huge demand for them come in through our ports of entry.

Idiot Trump is fighting the war on illegals and drugs in all the wrong places. He is more concerned with tickling your clit than actually achieving anything.

The purpose of the border wall is to slow people down. You cannot just walk into the country or get past it without some special, concerted effort. This give LEOs more time to catch them and detect them.

People also escape over the walls of penitentiaries, but only an idiot like you would suggest that means that prisons should have no barriers to escape.

One of the first things Pope Francis did was fire several Cardinals who had enriched themselves.

Francis takes helping the poor very seriously.

I'm surprised how many alleged Christians who support Trump have willfully blinded themselves to the fact he is the most un-Christian president we have ever had.

Serial adultery. Bears false witness against others on a daily basis. Steals from the elderly and cancer kids. Covets married women. Sexually assaults women. The list is endless.

And he is completely unrepentant about all of it. He even admitted he did not feel it necessary to ask Jesus for forgiveness.

That is what you are doomed for. Not for what you think about the Pope.

How often do people escape penitentiaries, genius? Horrible apples to oranges comparison.

As I have already shown, the wall slows no one down.

A CPB agent isn't psychic. They can't tell when someone is breaching the wall unless it happens right in front of them.

As I have also already shown, the wall is being breached several times a day.

Time to stop being stupid and start using detection methods which are far superior.

The threat of the wall at the beginning of Trump's first term caused a dramatic decline in border crossings. Only when it was clear that the program was being sabotaged by the left did it increase. Note that upon Trump's reelection crossings virtually stopped, not because of the prospect of the wall being finished but because of the looming threat of deportations. We need both. Crossings are no longer a problem at this time. We are focusing on deportations.
