This is what practically no one thinks about the language "English" except he is only a native English speaker who never learned a foreign language.
?
Take out all German and Latin words out of your language - what will stays to be English? Even the word "English" is a Germanic word and refers to the northern Germanic tribe "Angeln".
Why not tell the nice boys and girls about your family connections to Oskar Dirlewanger ?Really?
Invaders! With much darkness of deed.
So why do you speak a language of the Roman and Germanic invaders of "England"? And which "darkness of deed" do you speak about, future fossile?
Why not tell the nice boys and girls about your family connections to Oskar Dirlewanger ?
No wonder the Poles even detest hearing that name
Read the book.
Great country Poland and the people are hospitable , intelligent , aspirational and hard working .
Many many more Poles speak English than British people speak Polish .Unsurprisingly .
I prefer England obviously because it is Home and family and close friends are here .
But ever since I became a frequent visitor in Poland I have become a big fan .
BTW , A high proportion of Poles , more the young , think the British are stupid and I understand why -- Poles are moving up whereas probably the best times for us lie in our past .
Same as US .
What for heavens sake is a "book"? An invention of the Romans, the Germanics and/or the Americans?
It could be many things, if you know the ins-and-outs of the English language.
Clue. A noun, or a verb.
Deeper root is the breech tree - but not in the English form - in the German form. Book = Buch. u=oo and k=ch. "ch" is not a "k" but a sound between "h" and "k". "Khh" could be a similar sound in English. So called "Buchenstaben" (rods made from the wood of the breeches) had been used to make prophecies. When Germanics saw people reading they compared this. The "Buchstaben" are your "letters" now (from the Latin language) but a "Buch" kept to be a book (=a breech rod summary).
You don't understand English when you do not understand Latin and/or the German(ic) language(s).
Look .Says a supporter of Putin´s war on Europe which he had started in the Ukraine. We live really in a very funny tragedy on our planet here.
Good to see you picking up on simple facts .
