The event was organized by the Austrian Student Union (ĆH JKU). When the offensive chanting began, the ĆH leadership reportedly stopped the music immediately. The ĆH later expressed that it was ādeeply disturbed by the incidentā and made clear that there is no place for discrimination at their events. ļæ½

University Rector Stefan Koch also condemned the chants and pledged support for a thorough investigation, emphasizing that the JKU stands for democracy, tolerance, and human rights and will not tolerate extremist or hateful speech. ļæ½
