Today the NTSB reported that the FAA will block helicopters from getting into the path of airliners

While they have not changed a thing for the airlines, the Helicopters are blocked from being in the path of airliners.
This video confirms that they so far are only concerned about the helicopters.

And why is this?

Because the airlines have designated paths to fly on. The crash on January was because the helicopter was on the path to slam into the passenger jet.
