While the shoplifter was engaged with the police the resident had time to get his own weapon and put an end to the armed shoplifter.

Who ya gonna call? So far in 2019, 102 Police Officers died in the line of duty to assure the Constitutional rights of idiots to criticize them.

To me, if it can be done, the guy should sue the court for not only ruling against him, but also for taking so long to rule against him in the first place! Its been four years now since the shoot out. That man deserves reimbursement no matter where or who it were to come from, especially if so much damage was done!

It can't be done. You can't sue the court when you lose a case.
