Trump would have to file a complaint but he can't, because his defense in the trial was that he never paid Cohen Back for the $130,000, or the $50,000 Cohen claimed as an expense, that was actually only $20,000.
since the defense claimed the money paid to Cohen for 12 months, the $35k a month in 2017 was as a retainer for law work done by Michael for them, each of those 12 months....
and not for the $130k and $50k grossed up for taxes, plus bonus as the Alan Weisselberg scribbled notes stated....And also entered in as evidence.
trump claimed that he didn't falsify his records that state Cohen s $35k a month pay in 2017 was for legal work done each month by Cohen in 2017.
the prosecution claims it was to reimburse Cohen.
So, Trump claim that he was not reimbursing Cohen for Stormy and RedFinch expense, means Cohen was never reimbursed for Cohen's $30k overage, grossed up. So Cohen never stole from Trump....
