To all you calling BS on the Trump indictment…

So, lying and falsifying business records is OK?
What about if Silicon Valley Bank did the same thing?

Lying about the estimated worth of a property is not a jailable offense. Even if he lied to a bank about it

Having a person sign an NDA for a pay off is also not a jailable offense

The stretch here is that they are trying to say the porn star payout was actually a campaign finance violation which I don't see how they can spin that when the money came from an LLC that Cohen ran that had nothing to do with the campaign.

Mortgage fraud happens when someone lies to influence a bank's mortgage decision or if a distressed homeowner is the victim of a fraud.

As the lead agency investigating corporate fraud, the FBI focuses its efforts on cases that involve accounting schemes and self-dealing by corporate executives, as well as obstruction of justice (activities designed to conceal this type of criminal conduct).

The FBI’s corporate fraud investigations primarily focus on:

Falsification of financial information:

  • False accounting and/or misrepresentations of financial conditions
  • Fraudulent trades designed to inflate profits or hide losses
  • Illicit transactions designed to escape regulatory oversight
Having a person sign an NDA for a pay off is also not a jailable offense
They're worthless.

You're FOS.

  • During the 2016 election, Cohen paid $130,000 to adult film actress Stephanie Clifford, known as Stormy Daniels, and arranged for a publishing company to pay $150,000 to model Karen McDougal for her story in exchange for the women agreeing to not go public with allegations that they had affairs with Trump. (Trump has denied having affairs with either Clifford or McDougal.)
  • Prosecutors said the purpose of the hush payments was to influence the 2016 election, and treated them as campaign contributions, which are subject to restrictions under the Federal Election Campaign Act.

Look if a bank doesn't do its own due diligence when loaning money it's not the person who applies for the loan that is at fault.

I could go to my bank tomorrow and say I want to borrow a million dollars on a property the bank will then have that property appraised and decide whether or not to loan the money.

Shows your hatred for one man. You loons are sick. Fuck every liberal in the United States. You gonna get what you deserve.
Me asking how you know something your calling BS is BS shows my hatred for one man??? Wtf. Are you smoking crack again?

You loons have been lying about Trump from the beginning. So why should we believe anything now. You just got Trump reelected. Congratulations!
You don’t need to believe anything now. My question is how you know these charges are BS?

And as far as I know paying a person to sign an NDA is not illegal. Pro athletes do it all the time.

And if the money did not come from the campaign coffers then it cannot be proven it was campaign finance fraud.

This isn’t about me either. It’s about what you know and don’t know. So far you have only displayed that you don’t know

You haven't showed you know much about it either. Thus far all youve done is tell others they don't know what they are talking about and so on but have shown nothing that says you're qualified to make those claims.

You can't tell someone they are wrong when you have no substantial evidence saying you are right. "Because I said so" doesn't count.

Never said it was, just that they are worthless, unless you have a lawyer willing to go the distance on enforcing one.

They don't know if it did. If they knew there would be no reason for a grand jury show trial

And this isn;t about Trump as far as I'm concerned. The entire Grand Jury system is a travesty of justice as far as I'm concerned

I have always had a problem with the idea of "secret " court proceedings and I will always be skeptical of any grand Jury rulings for a lot of reasons.

The GJ is a secret hearing that delivers a secret verdict
The GJ is a prosecutor's tool and the person being accused has no representation
The rules of evidence do not apply so the prosecutor is free to use illegally obtained evidence and hearsay
The prosecutor is relying on a pool of people who know nothing about the law to decide if there is enough evidence to indict.

Tell me why does a lawyer have to ask the opinion of a public pool of people who know Jack Shit about the law if he has enough evidence to file charges?

It is a tool used to guarantee an indictment AND it also puts it out there h=that one jury already found a defendant "guilty" of something.

Same way with a jury TRIAL.
Contrary to teabagger beliefs, prosecutors don't assemble grand juries on a whim.
A judge has to approve it.

Trump files lawsuits that way, normal people don't.

You routinely deny facts. Exactly what in my post is not a fact, Hack
Perfectly wrong.

Gather the facts, and if you have something, nail him. Nail anyone else involved. In court.

I don't care about the politics. I'm not like you. Thankfully.

You don’t need to believe anything now. My question is how you know these charges are BS?

That has been discussed already:

A local prosecutor cannot bring charges about a federal election. That's up to the FEC which has reviewed the case already and determined no wrong doing.

His star witness has been convicted of perjury and lied in a congressional hearing. Furthermore his ex lawyer came out and stated Cohen told him he would do anything to stay out of prison, and repeatedly said he would consider suicide. He also said Trump had no idea he paid Stormy anything.

A statement by Stormy stating she and Trump had no physical relationship.

A statement by Cohen that Trump never reimbursed him for said payment.

The fact the statue of limitations is long expired even if he had a case.

Now, unless this fat clown has something on Trump not related to the Stormy situation, then it's all bullshit and political. He can't make a case with a witness that is clearly not credible.

They make me sick.

And shouldn’t his DA be charged with election interference? Everyone, including him, passed in this nothing “case,” and then when Trump announces his run, he kicks it back into his gear.

This case is about one thing: preventing Trump from running and thus suppressing the voice of Republicans. I guess voter suppression is fine with them as long as it‘s against white conservatives.
How do you know what this case is about? You haven’t even seen the charges!!
