The courts ruled in the State's favor and not Trump' s. If the State had lost in the court, then the modification for mail in voting during a pandemic, would not have been done.

Elections are run by the State's
NOT by the Federal govt..... the joint session on Jan 6 is simply to verify and put in to the record, the State certified electoral votes.
NOTHING was ever going to change these votes from entering in to the record.....
