Really, though, any dialogue with regard to how that all went down and how it all still goes down is trivial and would be purely casual/educational.

At this point, because the monetary policy is the way that it is, and because of the predictable failure it has achieved, because of the fact that the monetary policy is patently designed to always kick the can down the road, we wouldn't even have an monetary policy without the income tax. It's designed to require ever-increasing debt just to continue.

And, of course, that's not even getting into the equally and historically failed gag about taking (at the barrel of a government gun, btw) from each according to his ability and redistributiong it all to each according to his needs and whatnot. That the feds seem to dictate ''needs'' makes them the most biased entity on the planet, btw. That's yet another discussion. Used to be that the proper role of government was to protect Individual liberty. Now it seems that its primary role is to placate group claims.

Anyway. I'll shut up about it, just because I'm drifting off into more germane territory than the thread is meant to entail (unfortunately) but historically speaking, the Revolutionary War started as a tax revolt. Said country simple, the Framers slit throats for this kind of nonsense. So that's all I have to say about that...

It has been bastardized by the Politicians, Pundits and People, their desires,
and failure to understand their own responsibility in defending our Nation.

But at the same time ... It's one of those things that you either get it or you don't.
People could sit here and talk to each other about it ...
Some will never understand and try to fight it, and you don't have to explain it to the people who understand.

We just need to find a better way to message ... Make it simple and beat them to death with it until they surrender.
That's how our opposition keeps building this House of Cards we are living in.

And it's all downhill from there.

Used to be that in general life you could say that you get precisely what you ask for.

Except now, particularly where gvernment sticks its nose, the producing demographic of the electorate gets hit with the responsibility and consequence of what the ''each according to his needs'' demographic votes/asks for.

The so-called left, Right, Republican, Democrat, it's all the same, ultimately.
