I've been working and listening along at the news all night, and things seem to be more uncertain than ever. The real irony is we have a President who as candidate Obama condemned unilateral action of Presidents and loudly condemned the fact that there were no WMD. And now he is facing the very same thing--an uncertainty whether WMDs were used as well as who used them, plus if he acts, it appears it will be without the sanction of the American people, Congress, the U.N., NATO, and most other...

Just your opinion that the government should incur no debt, should never borrow, that President Trump should never agree to anything other than a balanced budget that pays for nothing TNHarley doesn't agree to? No argument whatsoever to show that TNHarley's opinion is valid.

We might as well shelve this issue as you don't seem to have anything to argue other than the vague and unspecified. I won't be responding to anything further on this until you give me something specific to debate. You can start with your expertise on how a President can require a balanced budget and override the will of Congress without wrecking the U.S. economy. A balanced budget should be a goal of a responsible President but must be achieved responsibly and without unnecessarily harming Americans.

And it is actually inappropriate for this thread as it was not included in the original callout. Should President Trump only agree to a balanced budget would make an excellent callout topic though.
