On the t.c.m. film festival website they had advertised the 3D version of," house of wax, as being a part of the film festival. In this overpriced classic film festival Time Warner, who owns T.C.M. told a lie about it. They advertised it as being the first color 3D feature. This was nothing but misinformation. This was not even ballyhoo for the movie. The first all-talking color feature in 3D was Bwana the devil island. House of wax was the first 3D movie in stereophonic sound, now lost. The sound was recreated in two channels. House of wax was also the third 3D movie to be put out because when Harry Cohen of Columbia found out what warner was doing, they decided to put out a black-and-white quickie 3d film. So Columbia would be the first to put out their 3D feature before Warners. .This is all fact.
