So for all the pomp and circumstance, spring lamb and pastries, this was all a publicity stunt and accomplished little, if anything.

I suspect that France is looking to align itself more closely with the expanding US economy rather than the EU with the disastrous German and dismal UK economies.

His speech to Congress wasn't too bad except for that silly ass global warming bullshit.

Macron goes home and to the EU and tells them to pressure Iran for a new
deal and to stand with the US and we will keep a deal in place.

Plus, we'll keep Boots on the Ground in Syria and keep the Russians and
Iran in place besides destroying ISIS. If they don't support us and Syria
gets out of hand again...All of Europe will be overrun with camel jockeys
bailing from the Middle East. We've got the Europeans exactly where we

He’ll get the exemptions like the others did. Remember, Trump threatened to take on the biggest aluminum and steel producers that were “taking advantage” of us, and instead he protected and strengthened their place in our markets by putting tariffs on all of their competitors.
