My friends who used to be in the textile industry say Bull on that.Neither does speaking out of both sides of the mouth to energize a voting base...I call it being a liar....Yeah, yeah, yeah...who doesn't?Because they are PEOPLE! That's why. You have no idea why they were placed on this Earth, who the fuck are you to determine who is allowed to live on this planet? You're not God. You are no better than anyone else here, and this line of thinking makes you worse than most.
You know, I think if we could sit down and have a Martini, then I could explain my point of view much better and what I mean from a logical perspective.Yet Trumpet uses labor in third world nations to produce his goods...Making himself, part of the problem...I did...I voted for Trump...who's been complaining about this bull crap for 20 years. Then you better do something about US business companies doing business with India...
Let's see what happens a year from now.
By the way, Fair Trade does NOT obviate sending jobs to other nations.
But he's not. The reality is that the majority of the textile plants here in the US have been closed. Those that remain do specialty work that is relatively expensive, and they are smaller scale production. This is the result of government regs imposed over decades. That is a simple fact.
They were destroyed by Walmart.
