Not to rain on anyone's parade (I've never had a TikTok account) but if SCOTUS upheld the ban, and TikTok's parent company is restoring service while the ban is still in place, meaning it has not yet been revoked or delayed per Executive Order as promised by Trump on his first day in office, then don't they risk sanctions or prosecution or some other punishment for not adhering to U.S. law or proclamation?

Or are they counting on a convicted criminal president not caring about what's lawful?

I'd probably take them a wee bit more seriously if they could do something about the data breaches here in the U.S. that happen weekly it seems. Paying to monitor someone's credit report after all your data has been exposed doesn't get it.
