If you have young kids, you would do well to at least monitor what they are doing or being encouraged to do based on the endless stupid challenges and sexual imagery flooding the site. Well there are some redeeming aspects. I particularly like the beautiful young women who like to flaunt their near naked bodies.

Okay. Now I’m definitely not for that, but blaming TikTok for this is absurd. It’s been going on for decades.

Social media in general is not healthy for kids. In the old days, the circle of peers that kids felt they had to impress consisted of maybe a few dozen or so. Today, because of social media, there are hundreds or thousands who can destroy a young kid's confidence and self-esteem with anonymous negative comments and hate. Add adults who prey on youngsters into that mix and the need for parents gets very real, very fast. Parents cannot be afraid of "invading their kids' privacy" be demanding to see what their kids are saying to each other and what's being said to them.
