Last night I drove into the nearby "big city" (laughable though that term is) to check out the protests. In fairness, they were orderly. But that's where it ended.
Acting innocent I approached one of the apparent leaders and took a chance.....
Asked if he (very macho male wearing a tee shirt obviously donated by the event promoters) felt George FOREMAN was killed by a negligent "pig" or was intentionally murdered.
"Oh man!", he spewed. George got killed in cold blood! Stomped to death.
I couldn't leave it alone: "So, TEN cops stomped him right there on the sidewalk in MOLINE!" "Oh YEAH!" "All them Moline cops gotta be offed!"
George?
Last I knew George Foreman was safe in HIS workshop making grills.
Methinks the apparent leader got the check but not the script.
Or maybe failed remedial reading?
