Only the democrats could come up with a plan to be more MAGA but make it the opposite. As if that’s what they were lacking was an actual name for their failure. With that in mind the opposite of success would be Blue MAGA.

Well it is obvious the Democrats have no plan, no vision, no imagination, no ability to innovate, create, improve anything. Their 'build back better' slogan fell as flat as a watery pancake.

So they're trying out President Trump's slogan for his vision with absolutely no intention of doing any part of his agenda. They seem to have no understanding that a slogan without a marketable agenda has no value. They sure can't market their agenda as it would look much more horrible on the front pages than it does when they try to hide it.

They really are clueless, hopeless, empty people.

That is why they have to move to the center. Democrats had a similar dilemma in the 1980s after the Mondale disaster. The Democrats then saw the rise of Bill Clinton and he reclaimed the center.

But what is the center? What does that represent? For many of us 'being in the center' means you don't really believe in much of anything, there isn't anything you're willing to put yourself out there to work for, you have no solid convictions.

The honorable Democrat Party of old, i.e. the 20th Century, shared pretty much the same basic American values as the Republicans.

The primary thing that differentiated them was in how to accomplish it. The GOP tended to be more promote the private sector, less government initiative while the Democrats were more big government program people. But they were mostly in sync with each other on what was good, what was evil, what was beneficial for Americans.

Really? What's insane about the MAGA vision? As a libertarian (small "L") aka classical liberal, I fully appreciate and support that vision. There's nothing extreme or radical about it. It is essentially restoring the vision, concepts, belief, principles, values this country was founded on and that made it the greatest nation the world has ever known.

In reality Clinton was supposed to be their sacrificial lamb to Bush until we fired him.
