All I see is his determination to get a public declaration out of Zelensky that he is going to investigate a debunked conspiracy theory (Crowdstrike) and the "Biden affair" which is ONLY coming up now months from the primaries because....Biden is ahead of Trump in the polls.(1) All ambassadors serve at the pleasure of the President. He did not need an "excuse" to remove her.

She was reassigned, with no change to her compensation or benefits, and she can remain in some sinecure as long as she likes, and when she leaves it, we will be on the hook to keep her up until she dies. [4] As this U.S. diplomatic community continued meticulously to implement stated U.S. foreign policy, they became an obstacle to Trump's corrupt, criminal shenanigans on foreign soil, which also couldn't see the light of day. And for that, for being a champion of stated U.S. foreign policy, Ambassador Yovanovich - an obstactle to Trump's corruption - ended up being recalled.
Oh, and, BTW, you fallen-on-your-head-too-often dolt, those are not Trump's "underlings". These are proud public servants, serving the U.S. of A. and holding the whole shop together, having sworn an oath to uphold the constitution, to which primarily belongs their loyalty, not to Trump.
