There are many who absolutely hate Obama. No matter what he does they will dislike or disagree with him.

The majority of these individuals hate the reality of power and demographics in the USA. Obama represents those changes.

The power of white males in our country is decreasing. The power of non whites and women is increasing. This is a result of the changing demographics not a power grab. By 2020 Caucasians will be a minority in the US. Caucasian, especially Caucasian males, will have a redefined role in our society as compared to the past.

The days of white males dominating the power positions are over. That does not mean whites and white males will not have a very important position in our society. Rather than whining about the reality of the world and blaming Obama, it is time for whites to move on and make the most of the many opportunities they have.

Well when he cuts the F-22 raptor and claims he made a huge cut for the budget how can we like him. He lies to our faces and does the opposite of what he promised to get us to vote for him.

For example

"President Obama claimed a triumph for spending rectitude [Tuesda] after the Senate stripped out funding for the Air Force's F-22 Raptor fighter. Credit $1.75 billion in savings, or a third of a percentage point of the overall 2010 defense request. Only a couple of trillion more, and Mr. Obama will have a balanced budget. The Senate vote defers to an Administration's assessment of defense priorities. In the budget sent up to the Hill in April, Defense Secretary Robert Gates made hard choices. Among them was his decision to kill the stealthy F-22, bar none the best fighter jet in the skies, and instead to focus resources on the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. We happen to think the U.S. needs this program to keep its superiority in the air for the next three or so decades. Designed for air-to-air combat and to fly at supersonic speeds without being detected by radar, the F-22 gets dismissed as a 'relic' of the Cold War. But not all conflicts are likely to be against inferior, unconventional enemies. China and Russia are building up their conventional forces, for example. Congress might have challenged Mr. Obama's choices on such strategic grounds. Aside from the F-22, the Administration wants to cut missile defenses, shrink the Navy and over the long-run reduce spending on defense, when the demands on American forces are greater than ever. ... One thing for sure is that the F-22 vote isn't a sign of new fiscal discipline. Congress continues to bust the budget on everything except defense, most especially with its push for government health care for all. Meanwhile, the Air Force will have to live with 187 F-22s when the next adversary arrives." --The Wall Street Journal

he didn't get his "mandate" to turn this country into a socialist state no matter how much u and janeanne garafalo want it to be-- we will not allow him to continue to lie to our faces day in and day out-- where's the transparency?-- how come he's making deals with lobbyists?-- why no bills on his website before a vote?-- WHAT'S THE FRIKKIN' RUSH?!-- Regards, probus

I'd say that a pretty good savings $1.75 billion. Granted, it's not enough to get the US out of the hole, but it's a start, and no one item can solve the deficit issue

One way to help resolve the deficit is to STOP SPENDING OUR FUCKING MONEY!!!!!!

President Bush expanded the federal budget by a historic $700 billion through 2008. President Obama would add another $1 trillion.

President Bush began a string of expensive finan*cial bailouts. President Obama is accelerating that course.

President Bush created a Medicare drug entitle*ment that will cost an estimated $800 billion in its first decade. President Obama has proposed a $634 billion down payment on a new govern*ment health care fund.

President Bush increased federal education spending 58 percent faster than inflation. Presi*dent Obama would double it.

President Bush became the first President to spend 3 percent of GDP on federal antipoverty programs. President Obama has already in*creased this spending by 20 percent.

President Bush tilted the income tax burden more toward upper-income taxpayers. President Obama would continue that trend.

President Bush presided over a $2.5 trillion increase in the public debt through 2008. Setting aside 2009 (for which Presidents Bush and Obama share responsibility for an additional $2.6 trillion in public debt), President Obama’s budget would add $4.9 trillion in public debt from the beginning of 2010 through 2016.

We are fighting obama because he is like bush x4 for economic insanity.

He saves $1.75 billion and spends more than $1,000 billion. :clap2:

This is a very true statement to a point. I would not dislike it if he jumped off of a very high cliff! I could agree with that.

Obama is nothing more than your typical crooked political hack that comes from Chicagoland, Illinois. He has absolutely no experience in politics. He was elected to the Illinois Senate and there he did absolutely nothing. In the Senate of the US, where he had a total of 122 days experience before he ran for President, he did absolutely nothing. Please tell us all, just what is it that he has done to make him the "great" man that you claim him to be? He's ruining America a little bit more every day. He is a very proficient liar and he has flip-flopped on the majority of things he said he would do as he ran for President. He belittle Bush at every opportunity but now, all of a sudden, he is following a good deal of his lead in both Iraq and Afgahastan. He has not closed down GITMO as he proclaimed he would the day he took office. Instead of bringing troops home from the Middle East, he has sent in more troops. So please, do tell me what makes him a great man?

They still own all the corporations and lobbying firms, right? So white middle age men, relax. You still own the country.

For now anyways.

This is stupid, I thought it wasn't about race ... hmm? Or did he get the job just because he was black now?

The reality, which you don't seem to live in, is that those who don't like Obama are not any different than those who didn't like Bush, just fewer people are willing to criticize Obama.

Call me paranoid, but I can't understand why the Obamaites are so willing to overlook these simple facts about Obama's rise to power.

1. Bill Ayers' wife (Bernardine Dohrn) worked at Sidley Austin lawfirm in Chicago in 1988.

2. Michelle Obama worked at Sidley Austin in 1988,

3. Barack Obama came to work at Sidley Austin in 1988, as an intern, where he met and later married Michelle.

4. In the mid-1990's, Bill Ayers hosted a cocktail party to announce Obama's entry into politics.

5. Both Bill Ayers and Barack Obama served together on the board of the Woods Fund, a Chicago-based charity that develops community groups to help the poor. Ayers joined the board in 1999 and is still on it. Obama left it in December 2002 after nine years.

Now could it be remotely possible that Ayers hand-picked Obama to groom for a political career? The dates seem to indicate it's possible.

During the campaign, Obama was asked about his association with the Ayers' and said this, "Ayers is "a guy who lives in my neighborhood" and not someone who has endorsed him or talked to him regularly.

"And the notion that somehow as a consequence of me knowing somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago when I was 8 years old, somehow reflects on me and my values, doesn't make much sense," Obama said.

Until someone convinces me these were all random coincidences (as the Dems choose to believe), I will NEVER trust this man. Maybe you can look at everything he's done so far and believe he's doing what he thinks is best for America. But I tend to wonder if he's doing everything Bill Ayers always wanted to do and just never had a puppet he could use to accomplish his goal of destroying America. What better way to start than by bankrupting us?

Democrats have always been experts at overlooking the shortcomings of their candidates. I'm not big on conspiracy theories... but in this case, if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck... it might just be a duck. And you'll be the ones responsible for putting him into a position of power.

Try to remember that when you're bashing those of us who doubt that he's what he claims to be. The stakes are too high for me to have blind faith in a commander-in-chief who's never even been a boy scout... or a financial genius who's never run a profitable hot dog stand, much less a real business.

If you want to call it 'fighting reality' go right ahead. IMHO, it beats the hell out of ignoring it.

He's one of the few who are actually MORE repulsive than George W. Bush by at least 4 times.

In defense of Obama, I would have to say that he has a better tan than Bush.

So, are you mad at Obama because he is spending so much or are you mad at him because you think he is going to bomb the US? I am confused.

Your association of Obama with a revolutionary is a huge stretch. His association was based on education for underprivileged youth.

How about the fact Dick Cheney used many concocted draft deferments to prevent going to the Vietnam war just like the many revolutionaries of the time.

If one was not able to maintain draft deferments the next move was to join the National Guard. Durring the 60"s and 70's no one in the National Guard was sent outside the US to fight a war. George W. Bush joined the National Guard.

Bill Ayers was a big partof the war resistenence movement. Cheney and Bush are aligned closer to Bill Ayers than Barack Obama.

Obama's election happened due in largest part to moderates and independents voting for him in droves. Part of the problem you're obviously reacting to now are due in large part, to Obama himself. Breaking promises. Losing these moderates and independents. NO ONE "hates" Obama.

Remember all the promises Obama made while running for the office? And since getting elected? The staggering number of broken promises is far too numerous to list and discuss here, but this is a start.

Ask the "Transparency" crowd who has seen Obama mirror the Bush arguments to keep documents sealed, and to keep enemy combatants incarcerated indefinitely without trial. See what Congress says, about Obama continuing to use "signing statements" on bills to circumvent the Legislative branch, something else he promised he would end from the Bush era. No "change" found here.

Ask the Senior Citizens making under $50K who didn't get their income taxes ended as promised.

Of course, the lobbyists in his Administration that he swore to keep out probably won't want to discuss the matter, but I'll bet the gay community would be willing to discuss his support of the Defense of Marriage Act that he promised to repeal. Ask the unemployed how they feel about Obama's promise never delivered to create a $3,000 tax credit for jobs created, or how they still have to pay penalties for using their retirement accounts early just to get by despite his promise to the contrary.

And while we're on the subject, if you had tuned in to C-SPAN to see the health care debate negotiated there as Obama had promised, don't adjust your television set. It was another lie. And if you're expecting to see 5 days of public comment before the bill is signed, feel free to hold your breath. The Bills often don't receive enough comment time for the lack of oxygen to do any significant long term damage.

Yes, it would seem like absolute insanity for us to assume he would keep any promise. After all, even his promise to his kids to adopt a shelter dog went broken, resulting in Senator Kennedy having to purchase one for them from his breeder. Oh and, not a peep from PETA on that!

BROKEN PROMISES and INSANE SPENDING are the issues, stupid. NOT race or hate.
