Thomas Massie loses Kentucky House primary to Trump-backed Republican challenger

You celebrate a foreign country's economic influence over US elections?

The Billionaire Plot to Destroy a Billionaire Mascot - The American Prospect

"Fast-forward to yesterday, when the political ad–tracking firm AdImpact reported that the now seven-term congressman’s primary against former Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein had officially clocked in as the most expensive primary of all time, with Gallrein and the constellation of pro-Israel super PACs backing him spending $19 million :stir: to unseat the onetime darling of the conservative GOP base."
Imagine the outrage if instead of millions from pacs and billionaires tied to Israel, it actually came from Russia or China.

This primary election, the most expensive in history, is a master class on the power of the Zionists and their ability to manipulate the American people.

This election was a wakeup call for those like Massie who obstruct the TRUMP MAGA agenda. TRUMP has shown he can take out a "popular" over 12 years in office member of congress, with a weak candidate, because lets be honest Gallrein isn't on the same level as someone like Paxton, and yet he had an overwhelming win.
Yeah we want a dictatorship.

Hahahahahahahaha!

You mean there's no RINO party anymore.

To that I say good.

Um, not really.

The reason why the GOP has survived this long is because of its ability to separate itself from individual leaders who become toxic. The GOP survived McCarthyism and Watergate because enough Republicans were seen standing up and saying "This is wrong".

That Trump feels the need to destroy a guy like Massie, who votes with him 92% of the time, shows that there's no daylight between him and the GOP, which is bad for the GOP when Trump is gone and largely reviled.

But the real untold story here is that the Israel Lobby spent against Massie because he opposed more wars in the Middle East.

Just like they are spending money in Democrat primaries to stop more "Squad" types from getting elected.

Yeah, AFTER Trump demanded redistricting in Texas.

Hey Clueless Phuck

Democrats sued Texas asking the court to make Texas redraw the map.

THE COURTS AGREED AND ORDERED TEXAS TO REDRAW THE MAP

(your echo chamber does you a horrible disservice)

Why did Massie lose tonight?

Massie went from principled libertarian during COVID, to GOP leadership lapdog under McCarthy, to anti-Trump Epstein obsessive in 2025 after tweeting about that issue a whopping three (3) times in the decade prior.

The nail in the coffin for him was voting against OBBB in 2025 because, according to Massie, it did too much to secure the border.Trump mercilessly trashed Massie in 2020–calling him a “disaster” for America and Kentucky and saying he should be thrown out of the GOP entirely—but Massie easily swatted that away and won 81-19, so you can’t say he only lost because of Trump.

He went toe-to-toe with Trump on COVID in 2020 and won overwhelmingly. Massie lost because he went from being perceived as a quirky but lovable nerd who seemed to genuinely believe everything he said, to looking like a clout-chasing influencer who cared more about getting TV time with Democrats on an issue he clearly never cared about until five minutes ago than he did about representing his voters.

We’ll never know what caused the apparent personality change—maybe it was the death of his wife, maybe it was the McCarthy race followed by McCarthy’s ouster, or maybe it was a desire for notoriety or media acclaim and a lucrative podcasting career outside of Congress—but the drastic change was undeniable, as was the seeming lack of interest in much of anything happening in Kentucky.

Blame Trump, blame Israel, blame Epstein, blame the tragic death of a spouse, I don’t care. But you cannot just wave away 2020 Massie going face-to-face with the Trump machine and winning in a rout only to get smoked six years later.

Massie’s voters didn’t really change all that much, but he did, and they noticed.

Israel and "the pedophiles" have zero do with any of these political moves.
How much money did the pro-Israel/Epstein Class oligarchs pour into defeating Massie?

The Billionaire Plot to Destroy a Billionaire Mascot - The American Prospect

"'It seems like this primary is more than a primary,' (Tucker) Carlson remarked.

"'It’s a window into what MAGA has become.'

"'And it’s a referendum, I would argue, on democracy itself.'

"'If in the end some Israeli casino lady can come in and just determine the outcome with [Trump consultant] Chris LaCivita, that’s not democracy. It’s … it’s not even a poor facsimile of democracy. It’s just straight-up teeth-bared oligarchy.'"

Looks like Massie lost. Trump is on a winning streak.

Wow, Trump decided the outcome of a Republican primary. Big whoop! He's losing everywhere else.

Trump is especially losing all around the world. Xi handed Trump his ass on a plate. The EU isn't helping with the Straits, and nobody will give him Greenland.

What a loser!!!

Massie was a real conservative and had conservative values...

While I don't always agree/disagree with them I can respect his point of view and certain places definitely compromise to find the best solution. Life is about balance.

What we saw from Trump and MAGA is not leadership... It isn't even close to leadership, it is tyranny... This isn't a party about discussion of ideas and shared ethos... This is about loyalty.
Kentucky like sheep will unfortunately vote a long tribal lines in fear of letting Democrats win. Their media bubble down there has painted Democrats as evil, they have sold it to them and made it tribal... To fit in you must be not only Republican but loyal to Trump/MAGA, dissent or even discussion is not allowed..

Even this post about leadership, isn't about leadership. Real Leaders don't do what Trump and MAGA did... Massie main sin against the tribe was to want release the Epstein files unreacted...

Again for everyone's memory this is what is in it:

Gee, that's fascinating.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) will need to update his resume soon.

He lost his primary last night.

He also gave one of the most classless concession speeches, but I guess I’d be humiliated too if voters took a belt and whipped it across my face.

Massie was more concerned about not voting for tax cuts, border security, and getting airtime cozying up with Democrats over the Epstein Files.

He represented a hard-core Trump district—and voters chose challenger Ed Gallrein, a former Navy SEAL, instead.

The election once again confirms that the GOP is Trump’s party. His control over it remains strong, and anyone who dares to oppose him on key policy issues will face backlash from his supporters and the Republican Party. And that is exactly why CNN’s Harry Enten isn’t surprised that Massie lost:

ENTEN: “I wasn’t surprised at all because the bottom line is this; Donald Trump is the general of the Republican Party and the Republican primary voters are his soldiers.”

“And if you look at Thomas Massie, you can see it very clearly.”

“You look in 2020, 2022, 2024, he was getting 75%, upwards of 81% of the primary vote in 2020...”

“And today he gets less than 50% of vote, that’s the story!”

I had no interest in that race and wasn't following it; that is indeed a big drop. Hopefully the same goes for Cornyn's treason.
