My mother’s assisted living facility, already super-expensive, just announced a 9% increase in rent. (They had a modest increase of 3% last year.) They said in the announcement letter that they had been trying to hold costs down, but the cost of food, utilities, and increasing wages have made this necessary.

And now Harris says she wants to increase the corporate tax rate to 35%. How is the corporation supposed to stay profitable after that? Answer: they will be forced to raise the rent at least 15% MORE.

This is the Democrat Socialist party today: bankrupt the now “useless” Senior citizens while paying for luxury hotel stays for illegal aliens.
