I've been arguing with Democrats over this trial for a couple of years. Trump was railroaded. Cut & Dried.

'A' for effort, but there is a problem here. Half the country already knows he was "railroaded" and convicted by a brain-dead New York jury of a crime that no one can define. The other half will not be convinced no matter what proof is presented.

I've been arguing with Democrats over this trial for a couple of years. Trump was railroaded. Cut & Dried.

First they took a misdemeanor that was expired and elevated it to a felony in order to still prosecute it, by claiming the misdemeanor was done to conceal another crime.

But nowhere in the hearing did they ever say what that crime was!

They prosecuted Trump on a crime without revealing what the crime was so Trump could not defend from it neither.

Then they gave the jury special instructions that they could basically just make up whatever crime they wanted and not even agree on the crime to convict.

The conviction was a farce.

I'm not sure Trump can overturn it though as on appeal, the new judge can only look for PROCEDURAL irregularities, and cannot review the actual evidence.

What astounds me is that something like this can be done and go through full court system to fruition and no one anywhere was powerless to stop it.
