Nope! The immigration court judged cases, on average deny 85% plus of the asylum seeker's, asylum.
The whole key to solving this continual caravan to here is to process claims for asylum in court within a couple of weeks of arrival instead of years waiting for trial....
This keeps the seekers in detention, without having to release in to the country because their court date is 5 years down the road.
The incentive for the continual flow to our country from Central and South America, is how long they can live in this country before their court date for an asylum hearing....giving time with other relatives here, giving time to stay safe, given time to work here and comparable to their homeland, make a lot of money over the 5 yr wait for their guaranteed by US Law, immigration court hearing.
If they came, and 85% rejected within 2 weeks of being here and rejected from entry and deported... and they were back in their home countries within weeks, after they had already sold every thing they owned to make the caravan trip to the USA etc.....the word in their home countries would get around town....that selling everything and making the trip to the USA, ain't worth it!
We cut off the problem, at its root with a speedy trial....it would be evident to the whole town they came from... to see all the returned caravaners right back home a few weeks or months, right after they left.
That's a disincentive for others thinking of doing it.
