Probably because I live in THIS century. usually, when I find someone trying to make an argument by citing an obscure author, he can't make the argument effectively in his own words.

My position on Ukraine is clear.

We promised Ukraine that we would protect her borders from Russian encroachment if they gave up their nukes. Russia also made that promise.
