This explains it all. Also some props for Ross Perot who called it in the 1990's and was one of the few. Trump's tariff policies are RIGHT for this country, short term pain for long term gain.

We are a service economy. Have been for a few decades now. And we were doing quite nicely. Until Amateur Hour blew into town.
The middle class was doing just fine until we elected a suicide bomber who blew the middle class apart.

The globalists who control the Democrats and Rinos will protect their foreign cheap labor at all costs.
Uh-huh, well you run with that. Not too fast though, wouldn't want you to stab yourself. You may have been doing quite nicely, but the nation has seen nothing but economic decline.
Clinton made it one of his goals as president to pass trade legislation that lowered the barriers to trade with other nations. He broke with many of his supporters, including labor unions, and those in his own party to support free-trade legislation.[22] Opponents argued that lowering tariffs and relaxing rules on imports would cost American jobs because people would buy cheaper products from other countries. Clinton countered that free trade would help America because it would allow the U.S. to boost its exports and grow the economy. Clinton also believed that free trade could help move foreign nations to economic and political reform.
The Clinton administration negotiated a total of about 300 trade agreements with other countries.[23] Clinton's last treasury secretary, Lawrence Summers, stated that the lowered tariffs that resulted from Clinton's trade policies, which reduced prices to consumers and kept inflation low, were technically "the largest tax cut in the history of the world."[24]

Corporate career of Hillary Clinton
Wal-Mart (1986–1992)
From 1986 until 1992,[1] Clinton served on the corporate board of directors of Wal-Mart, an Arkansas-based company that was also a client of Rose Law, where Clinton was a partner.[2][3] Wal-Mart was the largest discount retail chain in the United States.[4]
Clinton was the first female member on Wal-Mart's board, added following pressure on chairman Sam Walton to name a woman to it.[3] The board's size was expanded in order to accommodate Clinton's addition to it.[5]

You got lucky. But your luck is running out.We ran with it and Trump won.
Attack the messenger. FOOL.You are the very last person to ever be believable with anything you post.
My, how short the memories are. What's even worse is that you think we can magically go back to being a production economy. Sorry to say, that ship has long sailed. And the economy will be long in ruins and Skippy will be long gone by time this country is able to make it back there.
We are a service economy. Have been for a few decades now. And we were doing quite nicely. Until Amateur Hour blew into town.
Unfortunately, that's what happens when you elect a hack and he hires hacks to run government like a business..you get chaos.
This too..shall pass. What's done, can be undone.
You got lucky. But your luck is running out.
Happens when you can't govern. I'm enjoying watching your savior get his fat ass handed to him..day..after...day..after day.![]()
Interesting you bring up 40 years, since it's been more than 50 since the last successfully implemented conservative policy. There is nothing "magic" about reversing a policy that failed to deliver.
It is the way things are SUPPOSED to work. You have an idea. YOu implement the idea. It works, you build on it. It DOES NOT WORK, you learn and adjust and CHANGE, even CHANGE BACK.
If you wanted more nuance in the CHANGE portion, you had 40 years to take your more..."reasonable" approach.
This is a peasant revolt. Our leaders failed to consider our interests so the PEOPLE rose up and are making policy.
Again, you got lucky. And the pendulum will swing back the other way. Hell, it already has. ^Shrug^.We won. Not everyone is retired or working in the gov't or service industry. The American People fired the Democrats.
