THIS Is Why Energy Independence WAS So Important

Even though this information is coming from a PAC....
I'm shocked...but Okay... Coolio. Looks to be ok.

At any rate...the crappy sugar in Brazil (number 2 manufacturer of Ethanol) from their drought and freezing temperatures a few weeks ago is a ring leading cause of why sugar and ethanol is currently expensive.

There's a bumper crop of sugar sitting in India (as well as cotton)...but it's not going to make it to market anytime soon with high shipping rates and not enough shipping containers to go around for such a low dollar product. Coffee from Vietnam would get shipped before the sugar will.

I'm also hearing that the Midwest will be full of crops this year...wheat, soybeans, corn, oats, cotton and etc because of the crappy weather in Brazil this past year. So...where I'm glad to see America producing... still doesn't solve the issues with gasoline.

Oil prices are up about 60% unless they went down since yesterday.
They went down again today unfortunately....the VIX is up over 12%.
Everything is in the dumpster and on fire.

WTI is at 66.xx and RBOB is at 2.16.

Everything is in free fall at the moment.

Down to 65.04 from 67.31 when I posted yesterday. Nearly $12 off it's earlier highs. I guess the markets don't put a lot of heed in what OPEC or Joe says?

"Can you please increase your oil production?" // NO!

OPEC+ Rejects Biden's Call to Pump More Oil

"We have you by the balls again - why would we want to Help you?"

How's that 'surrendering or energy independence' thing going, Joe?

And what is he doing asking the Saudis to pump more oil? I thought all of the Democrat Green Energy Acolytes said they wanted to eliminate all fossil fuel use?!

We haven't seen anything yet.

As the world Leftists convince people that humans are a threat to the planet and therefore ourselves, the truth is that the Leftist leaders are a threat to humanity, and happy humans that can provide for themselves are a threat to Leftist policies.

  • They push unreliable and intermittent "green energy" while shutting down perfectly good, reliable, base-load power plants running on coal and nuclear.
  • They stop perfectly clean and efficient pipelines from being built in the name of an endangered tree frog they value more than humans.
  • They ban drilling of oil at home and increase reliance on America's adversaries. We have fought or extended numerous wars over oil, arguably. War is not so environmentally friendly and ironically consumes gigantic amounts of oil to conduct.
If they really cared about climate, they would not open their borders to millions of third-world refugees whose carbon footprints are about to increase by a factor of 10 or 100.

The Leftists need to keep the lower classes struggling and reliant on the government, otherwise they lose their power.

Once they control carbon, they control virtually everything - agriculture, energy, the economy, even life itself.

Next time you have a power outage, think about how much that affects you. Feel good, though, you're doing your part to save the planet.

In enough time, it will come here...

Oct 9th, 2021: Energy crisis grips the world: Lebanon runs out of power, India warns its coal-fired plants could go dark in just three days, blackouts hit China and gas prices soar in Europe

  • Lights go out in Lebanon as biggest two power stations shut due to fuel shortage
  • Energy network unlikely to be restored for 'several days', according to officials
  • Meanwhile, some Chinese provinces are rationing electricity amid crisis
  • Europeans are paying exorbitant prices for liquefied gas and India is low on coal
  • Comes as world leaders prepare to meet in Glasgow for the Cop26 summit

"...As the global economy works to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic, the sudden energy crisis is putting a strain on supply chains and stirring geopolitical tensions.

What's more, as global leaders are preparing to meet for the landmark Cop26 in the hope of taking steps towards easing climate change, questions are now being raised about the plausibility of a global green energy revolution...."

All they have to do is uncap those wells they shut off during Trump's lockdown and stoppage of society...

Currently the issue is with both Saudis and UAE...

The UAE isn't "fudging" their contracts with overproduction like the Saudis usually do.

And those two are responsible for the bulk of the available bitumen regularly used.

Then there's coal.
Coal is cheap... really cheap. It's a rock that burns. But it isn't exactly found in sufficient amounts everywhere. And if the Dam that China built (famous years ago) could actually produce the electricity it was supposed to they wouldn't be having the issues they currently are....but like a lot of things made in China it's poorly designed and doesn't perform half as well as it is supposed to. (Literally putting out ⅓ the electricity it's supposed to)
So they need coal to generate electricity....but they really don't have sufficient amounts and import a lot of coal and petroleum products...and Russia isn't all that willing to sell them oil. And Russia has more oil than OPEC.

Then why was Joe down on his knees begging OPEC to pump more oil?

Oil Prices are low.
There is more than enough to go around...
Without our own oil production
We do not need energy independence
All is well....move along

:p

The US still imports 7.5 million bpd. We have never been energy independent.

The UAE produces about 4 million bpd.. Saudi ARAMCO produces 10 million bpd.. By 2023 KSA will be producing 13 million bpd.
