As some people celebrate Trump shutting down DEI in government they can't understand why they are being called racists. That's because their arguments always involve the claim that the policy is for blacks and the blacks who get the jobs are inherently unqualified or inferior to the white candidates that were supposedly passed over.

Furthermore making it about race, or specifically about blacks shows the overt racism in the opposition. DEI was never just for blacks.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion

Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are organizational frameworks which seek to promote the fair treatment and full participation of all people, particularly groups who have historically been underrepresented or subject to discrimination on the basis of identity or disability

It includes gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, age, culture, class, religion, or opinion.

If not for DEI, there would be no Governor Greg Abbott. There would not be a Kriti Noem or Pam Biondi. Every white woman in this forum bragging about a career wouldn't exist either. An individual Trumps age who wants a job would have no chance. I can keep going. So this entire time when I have been calling those who oppose DEI and affirmative action racists, it's because by the definition of the word, the belief that a group is inherently superior or inferior has been the argument made by every person here who has argued against these policies. Not one of you ever took the time to consider that blacks aren't the only people who are included in DEI or Affirmative Action.

Not one ever made the claim that it only benefitted blacks.
You have a quote by Thoms Sowell made with no evidence. Republicans love to whine, but it is illegal to ask about a person's political views as part of interviews.

Your opposition to DEI is racist.

Your opposition to DEI is racist.

When you hire someone to do work on your property, do you hire based on skin color or reputation?

DEI is racism pure and simple.

Well, I think I will celebrate this thread with this:

Its over, retard. DEI is never coming back and no one will ever donate to BLM again. You lost the culture war.

DEi initiatives are in direct conflict with and in violation of the civil rights act.

A lot of Americans worked hard for that, you know. Worked, sweated, bled, and died even.
And it got done.
But Obama shit all on it for 12 years. Yeah. He did that.
Everything all of those good Americans did for several consecutive years? Hundreds of thousands. Barack Obama set out to destroy everything they did and then some.
The good they did lasted from the time they won...until Obama. Prove me wrong.
Don't get me wrong, not all of their legacy is done in, but that damn Obama went directly against it.
And had a lot more success in fooling people about it than I think he should have. :(

You're incompetent. We get it. Do better and you might get hired. Though your whiney, sniveling attitude probably means you won't.

Oh, he ain't all black people now, that one there is one fucked up bird. :dunno:
No kidding. I associate with a lot of black folks, hell Ray Parker Jr. is in one of my poker clubs. They are all competent.

Nothing at all like IM2STUPID

You are never, ever going to get reparations.
Not a penny.

Y'all never try to get him to sing "Ghostbusters"?
He had a kinda raunchy song back in the day I liked better. 😆

Who hired and gave more employment to black people, you or trump
This has nothing to do with the thread topic. The topic is that DEI isn't just for blacks. So asking me whether me or Trump have given blacks jobs shows that you can't read.
