I don't think so. A national living wage raises the pay for those workers. But you consistently prove my assessment of you to be correct. You are not going to ever get that honorary white card.

Your "living wage" just increases prices for everyone so the person earning minimum wage loses ground and is worse off. That has been proven over and over and over again. Not only that, but at a certain point, the labor costs exceed the value of the labor and the job goes away either due to automation, or the elimination of the job entirely. Look at eh fast food industry, labor costs exceed the value of the labor, so now fast-food restaurants now have cut labor by using ordering kiosks and automatic cooking equipment. Fewer jobs and less employee problems and absenteeism lead to greater profits for the restaurant owners and less money for the unskilled workers who used to run the registers, fryers and grills.
