This is what happens when you humiliate the trump regime with the truth.

Gabbard fires top National Intelligence Council officials

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard fired two top officials at the National Intelligence Council, purging leaders amid what the office called an effort to address “weaponization” of intelligence.

Gabbard removed the acting head of the council, Mike Collins, as well as his deputy, Maria Langan-Riekhof.

The firings come just days after the council released, through a Freedom of Information Act request, an assessment contradicting Trump administration claims that the Tren de Aragua gang is coordinating with the Venezuelan government. In doing so, it undercut a key basis for President Trump’s invocation of wartime powers to remove people to a Salvadoran prison.

If you are in the intel biz this sends a message that your job is contingent on producing analysis that is aligned with the prez's agenda. Analysis that aligns with the facts will land you on the unemployment line.

This story of retribution..........carried out by a sock puppet.........who was appointed for the very reason of obediently carrying out trump's orders regardless of merit...........will be forgotten in a few days. Why? Because of the fire hose of abuses, illegality, and ethical violations the regime engages in virtually every day.

Exactly. These abuses of power are getting so commonplace it's hard to muster the appropriate level of outrage. Taken by itself this kind of revenge firing would be a front page story for days. How long before text messages are discovered on their Government-issued cell phones revealing that they are having an affair, while excoriating Trump on their official devices?

They also did keep a man who 14 million people voted for in the Democratic primary off the ballot.

Sounds like a good move. Dude is a deep-stater - in the CIA for 30 years.

Collins also has whistleblower complaints against him for political bias and "deliberately undermining the incoming Trump administration," officials said.

They added that Collins was closely associated with Michael Morrell, the former deputy director of the CIA who worked to write a public letter in 2020 claiming that Hunter Biden's laptop had "all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation," and to get signatures from top ex-intelligence officials. They say Gabbard and Bondi are just puppets for Miller.

Depends on how fast the hackers they have can put it on the devices.

He is constitutionally ineligible. It's just a fact.

Really? Had you ever heard of Mike Collins or even the NIC before this?
What difference does that make? They were fired for not holding the correct views.

It's the fascist thing to do whether I know them or not.
