This is What Happens When an Amateur tries to go Against A REAL Former Director of the FBI.

The judge said Halligan misstated the law. What would expect from an insurance attorney who has never prosecuted a case.

What do you expect from a person with no trial experience from a woman? Again. she should be disbarred.

What a surprise, some Leftist judge is running cover for another corrupt Democrat, this time an Intelligence Director. This is what gets IM2 excited.
Since this whole case is being heard in left wing swamp land I never expected Comey to be convicted of anything major. However as this case gets more exposed publicly the rest of the country will see all the crap the Thief in Chief Biden admin pulled in going after Trump. Of course the swamp parrots like IQ2 will belch out the party line like the good parrots they are.

Trump has gotten plenty of bad advice on who should be appointed to the courts or his cabinet.
Yes, he got some bad advice when someone told him Lindsey Halligan is competent.

Disbarment is a very real threat. She never should have agreed to take the US Attorney position given her total lack of qualifications. But then you could say that about most trump appointees.

Some leftist judge???? Trumps own hand picked prosecutor refused to indict Comey on account of a lack of evidence. Trump fired the man and put some incompetent toady in his place.

The guy Trump put in charge of indicting Comey had already left the employ of the DOJ due to incompetence. Trump brought him back.

Trump and his gang of loyal losers lost every one of his criminal and civil cases and they’re carrying on their losing ways in the DOJ. Filings in Trump’s civil and criminal cases received the same scathing comments from judges when they filed them on Trump’s behalf.

Did you think these people would be more capable working for the DOJ than they were in private practice? They’re 3rd rate hacks, at best.

No decent lawyer would ever work for a guy like Trump.

This feels like a motion that will be granted and sanctions inserted. I wonder if it will be dismissed with prejudice.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—In a stunning admission, prosecutors in the James Comey case conceded that the two-count indictment against the former FBI director was never presented to or voted on by a grand jury.

The paperwork snafu that has bedeviled the case from the beginning came into much sharper focus after persistent questioning from U.S. District Judge Michael Nachmanoff in federal court Wednesday in Alexandria, Virginia.

At issue is whether U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan — an insurance lawyer with no prior prosecutorial experience — followed proper procedure after the grand jury rejected count 1 of the original proposed indictment it was given.

The prosecutors in the case on Wednesday for a time turned into witnesses as the judge pressed them for details on what had happened in the late afternoon of Sept 25, 2025. After extensive back and forth, including hauling Halligan herself to the podium (she has not spoken in any substantive way in open court in the case before today), prosecutors conceded that the draft of the operative two-count second indictment that the case has been proceeding based on was never presented to nor voted on by the grand jury.

WTF!

Progs would pick diseased men and women due to sexual desires to survive over children if it came to it.

Lies.

Given that the prosecutor lied to the Grand Jury to get an indictment, my best guess is “yes”.

What a stupid comment but typical of Russian posters like you.

Trump is a “diseased man” and you keep picking him over sane competent people at every opportunity.

She has standing in in this case. There no Advice and Consent with the Senate, She NO qualified for the office she hold. She should be disbarred.

Trump is a felon, a convicted rapist, a draft dodger etc etc but some above support him. Why is the hard question, would you want a rapist living next door. No, but being your leader is OK. Go figure.

Should read as:

"She has NO standing in in this case. There was NO Advice and Consent with the Senate, She NOT qualified for the office she holds. She should be disbarred."

They threw their morality out the door.

Trump loses again. Get used to this, Republicans, because it's going to keep happening for the next 3 years. Trump has chosen to use the DOJ in lawfare. And while he can run his mouth accusing people of things, and he can use the power of his office to force indictments, what he can't do is get convictions with no facts. He has chosen to try taking people who know legal proceedings better than he or the members of his administration to court. So while he's trying to embarrass these individuals, he is going to be the one embarrassed as case after case gets thrown out, probably before they get started. This case against James Comey is looking ike it's going to die without a trial. :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg:

The Situation: The Inanities Continue in the Comey Case

It is actually hard to keep up with the pace of developments. Multiple times a day, documents land on this docket that contain new inanities, new abominations in the sight of the law, new factual revelations, new reasons to wonder not whether this case will collapse but only how. At the hearing the other day, Judge Michael Nachmanoff seemed to be struggling with exactly this question, asking an attorney for Comey—in effect—which motion he wants the judge to dismiss the case based on. Here’s the exchange:

THE COURT: All right. Thank you. But before you sit down, let me just ask you, do you think that the other pending motions, including the issue of literal truth and ambiguity and the other matters that are yet to be litigated, are so wrapped up in vindictive prosecution that the Court should deal with them all at one time, or do you think that the Court can and should deal with vindictive prosecution separately?

MR. [MICHAEL] DREEBEN: I think vindictive prosecution, like our motion based on the appointment of the U.S. attorney, are threshold matters that the Court should resolve as a threshold. Mr. Comey would like to see both of those motions resolved because they both go to the very heart of whether a prosecution in this case is permissible, one by virtue of a challenge to the official who brought it, the other by virtue of whether it complies with the Constitution to bring a prosecution at all. Our other motions are very important, and we have a series of them that challenge other aspects of the prosecution. As I'm sure the Court is well aware, there are issues relating to the conduct of the prosecutor in the grand jury. But this one and the appointments issue stand at the threshold. They're the gateway to all further motions, and those should be resolved at the outset of the case, in our view.

I've heard a number of talking heads ask the following question. What if this wasn't an insignificant case of vindictive prosecution? What if Lindsey were prosecuting someone who committed a serious crime against the country and the case got dismissed due to her incompetence?
