Trump Is Stalling His Presidential Transition With an Unprecedented Ethics Stalemate

The transition also sets the tone for the administration’s approach to transparency, accountability and public trust — which is why it is so essential that this team pledges to ensure their duties are carried out with the public’s interest in mind.

It is unclear exactly why Trump has not signed the agreement or shared who has contributed to the transition efforts; however, his most recent financial disclosure reports point to one potential reason.

Trump has a number of holdings that raise significant conflict of interest concerns: including his new cryptocurrency business, majority stake in the social media network Truth Social, real estate properties, books, and licensing deals.

With trump, and no other politician, trumples are willing to look the other way regarding things like this. There's something about how they think of him that's different. As though he's their Dear Leader or he's the head of a cult or something. Which is weird, right? Cuz they keep saying he isn't.

Lawfare Loser

Americans have proved, by a majority of the Popular Vote, that nobody cares what nitpicking lawyers are obsessed about.

The problem is Trump and his Cult members don’t share those concerns – Trump is a criminal and convicted felon who has no problem violating ethics standards.

I would wait before making any conclusions... Since these agreements I'm not boilerplate forms and I written up specifically for each and every transition I think it would be wise for him to have it examined from top to bottom before he puts his signature on it.
I'm guessing they're going to want a number of clauses removed that may have been inserted with less than honorable intent. After all this is out and out political warfare and every single vestige of the office has so far been weaponized... I see no reason why this would be an exception.

Ahhhh the sweet sound of vote accumulation continues to flow from the duplicitous orafices of the the delusionally self righteous! This is indeed encouraging as the mid terms loom.

What Donald Trump's Strategic Bitcoin Reserve Could Look Like

he recent re-election of Donald Trump has ignited discussions about his ambitious proposal to establish a national strategic Bitcoin reserve—but what would it look like? Is it even feasible?

In the wake of a second Trump presidency, a national Bitcoin reserve has the potential to reshape not only the U.S. financial landscape but also the global cryptocurrency market. Already, the "Trump Effect" has pushed Bitcoin into place as the eighth largest asset in the world, overtaking silver.

Former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers says Trump’s idea to create a national Bitcoin reserve is ’crazy’

Crazy for country, but not for Don's wallet.

Put the string of events together.

1. Bone Spurs starts a crypto biz after calling it a scam years earlier. He sees a business opportunity.
2. Wealthy crypto owners put together a $25M campaign contribution.
3. In return, trump goes to the crypto convention in Nashville and promises to fire crypto skeptic Gary Gensler.
4. A proposal is floated to create a crypto reserve using taxpayer dollars.
5. Crypto speculators drive the price of Bitcoin up to $100K, by far a new record.
6. trump hires crypto advocate Paul Atkins to run the SEC.
7. trump brings on crypto investor David Sacks to be his AI crypto guru.

Yeah I see the connection.
You're probably right.
Still still I have no problem with setting up competition for the Fed. Crypto is the perfect alternative because it's regulated internationally and there isn't a damn thing the Fed can do about it unless somebody decides to cash it in for dollars. In my opinion we need an alternative system.

Were it not tragic it would be comical that Repub's labeled Biden "quid pro quo Joe" without evidence, yet here is trump already rewarding Musk for his financial backing. I think Elon is pleased with his ROI.

As it stands, we don't know who has been paying for trump's costs during the transition. We don't know if he will boost the value of the DJT stock holdings by making all manner of pronouncements exclusively on it. We don't know if he will continue to promote crypto for his own financial benefit.

What we should know is he will divest himself of his business holdings. Not pretend Donnie J and Eric and running things without his knowledge like in the first term. What a joke that was.

This Presidency is going to kill you.
