The majority in congress hold the purse strings, whoever did the actual loan probably thought it qualified and was essential to keep goods and supplies moving, it would be better to ask why nobody in congress thought to ask for favors for these loans like agreeing to delivering vital medical supplies and test kits along their delivery routes, like agreeing to setting aside 10-20% of their load space to doing deeds for their country, thus making ammends for the sins you claim they committed. Why can't the congress do good works instead of spending their waking hours trying to destroy this country?

Mergers never go smoothly. YRC was broke yrs ago but somehow was "able" to buy Holland and Roadway. Think they also had a Chinese venture go bad. Anyway the mergers made them too big to fail. Hopefully MR govt will manage them down to a size that will not be so disruptive and then put them out of their misery.
