There used to be a website (I don't think it's around anymore) called "higher hi-fi" it was a place where you could find audio equipment for the extremely wealthy. Speakers that went for up to 1 million dollars, amps and receivers that sold for up to $400,000. Stuff like that. I just used to stare in awe at the prices and always wondered...can you REALLY hear the difference between a million dollar speaker and a $10,000 speaker?? Like...REALLY???An $8,000 CD player? That's impressive. How long ago did you buy it, out of curiosity?
I DJ'ed in my younger years and even the best DJ'ing equipment wasn't quite that expensive 30 years ago. (Although the studio level equipment may have been).
A 4KUHD player is something that would normally spark my interest - but how much longer will media be available for it? Unless it's purely digital - with digital storage?
