This is Getting out of Hand

Sorry IM2, I didn't intend to hijack your thread. But I didn't know where to post this. And since we were already talking about craziness... here's more craziness...

Is he drunk here?? Or is this just his true NY liberal self slipping out?

No problem. Facts are always welcome.

It's called brainstorming. And we have done it in the past. These are violent criminals and I'm not going to waste time worrying about people who are lucky they're even allowed to live (murderers, rapists, kidnapping, drug dealers)
Lol.

Was that the same speech where he called for Open Borders?

Rubio is just one of many Israel First individuals holding high office in the federal government. What do you expect him to do when he is being controlled by Bibi? Fanaticism rules

This young man has broken no laws; he's come to get an education and play basketball. He hasn't been seen protesting against Israel, nothing. But he might just get deported. This bs has gotten out of hand.

Duke’s Star 7-Footer Facing Possible Deportation After Final Four Loss to Houston

Duke Blue Devils suffered one heartbreak with Saturday’s last-second Final Four loss to Houston, and now, they may have to brace for another.

Duke held as much as a 14-point lead midway through the second half before a combination of its own defensive blunders and some Houston good fortune set the stage for a dramatic finish in the final seconds.

And while the sting of bowing out in the Final Four is still fresh, Duke is also dealing with some possibly unfortunate news regarding 7-foot-2 freshman center Khaman Maluach.

U.S. secretary of state Marco Rubio announced news on Saturday that could potentially lead to Maluach, a South Sudan citizen, being forced to leave the country.

“I am taking actions to revoke all visas held by South Sudanese passport holders and to restrict any further issuance to prevent entry into the United States, effective immediately, due to the failure of South Sudan's transitional government to accept the return of its repatriated citizens in a timely manner,” Rubio wrote.

Duke is aware of the situation, but the university declined to comment on how or if it affects Maluach, per The Athletic’s Brendan Marks.

“Per Duke spokespeople, the program has no comment on the situation at this time,” Marks stated.

This is what happens when democrats flood the nation with illegals. The guy in the story would be just fine right now if democrats hadnt done that and had sanctuary cities for a decade. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS when you do that to our country.

I'm pretty sure that was at the recent National Republican Congressional Committee dinner. I heard something about him talking about open borders but I haven't seen that. Do you have a clip or link?

Actually, never mind, I just found it. I'm sure the explanation for this will be that he just meant that he eventually wants to get rid of tariffs and have free trade. (Which actually doesn't make sense now that I re-watched it, because he implied there might be permanent tariffs) But I think there's more to it than that. This is one time when I think he's actually being truthful, because that's the direction the world is going in, and he's preparing the way for it.... while pretending to be the opposite.

If you can't see why that is an insane, unconstitutional, unAmerican, dangerous and idiotic idea... to even "brainstorm" about, then I don't know what to tell you.

Some of you seem completely oblivious to the fact that any power you grant the current president... because you like and trust him... is still going to be there after Trump is out of office and when the wrong person gets in power. So any unconstitutional ideas and power you give to politicians you like you're also giving to those who you KNOW are corrupt, subversive and anti-American. Do you not see any problem with that? I mean for me it's no brainer, because I don't trust any of them. This is why it's so important to always put principle first... rather than emotion or partisan politics. If people don't, then they're only shooting themselves in the foot in the long run....and that's putting it mildly.
A person who steals a life has no claim on their own life. They have no say.
In a biblical (just) culture, 1st degree murderers, rapists and kidnappers have no "right" to live.Neither do they have any "right" to take up space in this country.
I hafve zero problem seeing them wearhoused in a supermax prison in El Salvador.

I was busy all day today, so I'm just now catching up on the news.

Does anyone know if this is true??? (About possibly deporting US citizens)

Because this turns my stomach... truly.

If there’s a legal pathway to deport criminals, they may do it. What’s the problem?

Our government is neither biblical or just...and if you think otherwise, you're living in a fantasy land. Again, you want to give unconstitutional, unAmerican, authoritarian power to a government who you currently support because you like Trump. What you fail to see is that the politicians you like and trust will not always be in power. Then again... I'm starting to think that you trust government overall, both Rs and Ds. And in that case, even trying to have a discussion with you about this is entirely pointless.

I already explained this to Carl in post #57.
That was logically insufficient. If it’s legal to deport criminals back to their home country, even if they’re here legally, why not do it? Your answer “because someone else might do it later” doesn’t change the fact that they said they might do it if it’s found to be legal.

I wasn't talking about illegals or foreigners here legally. I was talking about US citizens!!! Read the string of conversation, including what the WH press secretary said in the clip posted.

They don't have to obey Trumps illegal bullshit. That kid was doing the right thing. Unlike the 34 count criminal punk ass bitch you elected to be president.

Deport Trump!
Your little tantrum won't do shit for that kid.

Where do you think they would deport a US citizen who committed crimes to, if deemed legal? Obviously to the country they came from, pre-citizenship. If determined legal, I have no problem with it.

True. Both parties need to stop supporting the Israeli government. Cut the cash off, and things will change. There is no other group that has an organization that lobbies Congress to support a government elsewhere. Think about the clamor that would be raised if blacks had an organization like AIPAC to support African governments that were corrupt like Netanyahus. Or if Hispanics had an organization that lobbies Congress to support corrupt regimes in South America.
