The elections are nonsensical. There are two parties that have a complete stranglehold on power, and both parties are by the rich, of the rich, and for the rich. That's hardly a meaningful election. But you raise an interesting point about elections, they allow the government to blame voters for the problems it creates. "It's your fault! You picked them!"

I’m in complete agreement. Unfortunately too many Americans are dumb, and can’t see the reality that our government is our enemy.

It really gets under my skin because of how many people talk about being, "the resistance" but when someone actually sticks it to the government and has our masters hiding under desks, suddenly they become the biggest bootlickers on the planet. The elites have done a great job dividing the public. Nobody cares about government crimes against the people, as long as said crimes target people we don't like.

I support insurrection because a government that fails to adequately represent its citizens ought to be dissolved and removed from power by whatever means necessary. The government sitting in Washington DC has no popular mandate (20% approval rating, if that), it routinely passes laws to enrich its members at the expense of its citizens, and regularly harasses, in some cases even kills its own citizens. To not oppose such a government is itself a bad thing.
