One of the features of authoritarian rulers is the promotion of what are called pro-government militias.........

Proud Boys seen marching and chanting in DC streets as Trump sworn in
https://www.nbcwashington.com/news/...-marching-and-chanting-on-dc-streets/3819787/

A group of Proud Boys carrying pro-Trump and anti-Antifa signs marched on the streets in Washington as Donald Trump prepared for the swearing-in ceremony at the Capitol Rotunda.

Images show a group of people clad in black and yellow carrying flags saying "Proud Boys" downtown, walking near Capital One Arena where thousands are awaiting Trump's arrival.

"Free our boys" was among several chants heard. Some marchers wore matching black jackets with an insignia on the back.

The implicit message being sent by trump's pardons of the J6 criminals is if you commit a violent act on my behalf, even against a policeman, I will protect you.

How Trump’s intimidation tactics have reshaped the Republican Party

When U.S. congressman Tom Rice voted to impeach Donald Trump for inciting the mob that stormed the U.S. Capitol in January 2021, it was the beginning of the end of his political career.

Angry calls and emails – including three death threats – flooded the South Carolina Republican’s office. The next year, as Rice ran for a sixth term, a sheriff’s deputy often guarded him at public events. Trump backed Rice’s foe in the party’s primary election. At a rally, the ex-president warned voters that the congressman “partnered with the Democrats to stab the Republican Party and, frankly, to stab our country in the back.”

This happened after Lindsey acknowledged Biden won in 2020 and was critical of trump on the floor of the Senate.

Lindsey Graham berated by angry Trump supporters at airport

He got the message.

Graham: I'll still support Trump even if convicted

Trump makes more than 100 threats to prosecute or punish perceived enemies

Trump supporters try to dox jurors and post violent threats after his conviction

I'm trying to remember a time when trump came out with a forceful statement condemning his supporters for making violent threats on his behalf. Bueller, Bueller......... Not doing so sends a tacit message that he's OK with it. Cuz he is. It's what he wants.

You could try to find a case where a prominent politician came out with a forceful statement condemning his/her supporters for making violent threats on his/her behalf. Start with the one that told their supporters to find opposition members, form a crowd around them and push them out of the public sphere.

Gotta break a couple eggs to make an omelette. Sometimes you have to violently demolish the remains of a building before you can rebuild. Sometimes you even have to remove the foundation and rebuild that correctly.

What makes you think it's happened in the US before Generalissimo trump?

I couldn't help noticing you didn't mention anything about beating up policemen or intimidating people like judges, jurors, DA's, and even people in your party that dare to step out of line by telling the truth.

obama called for a civilian army...did you forget that?? and we got antifarts, black lies matter, and islamic terrorist organizations.

The left starts this shit then you try to spread it on everyone else. OWN IT.

Thst was implied. if they’re part of what needs to be torn down to fix things, then they need to be removed as thoroughly as any piece of damaged building framing.

The Truth is that this hasn’t been a legitimate country since 1861 and won’t be again until and unless we burn Whst still exists and rebuild from scratch.

you mean like when Obama tried to for his army?
Romney’s announcement was accompanied by the publication of an excerpt of an upcoming biography of the senator written by the Atlantic’s McKay Coppins. In it, we see one manifestation of the shift in American politics over the past decade, particularly on the right: the infiltration of political violence and violent threats.

Terror — native-born in the United States — has infected the discourse.

Romney described to Coppins conversations related to the impeachment of former president Donald Trump that followed the riot at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

“One Republican congressman confided to Romney that he wanted to vote for Trump’s second impeachment, but chose not to out of fear for his family’s safety,” Coppins writes. “The congressman reasoned that Trump would be impeached by House Democrats with or without him — why put his wife and children at risk if it wouldn’t change the outcome?

My mistake. I didn't realize you were justifying the brutal beating of policemen as part of an unconstitutional attempt to steal a presidential election.

As trump would say, there was a time when you'd be hung for treason.

y'all get so defensive when your hypocrisy is showcased.

I justify WHATEVER actions are necessary against whoever or whatever is necessary to return this nation to its proper moral governance.

There hasn’t been a legitimate American government to commit treason against since before the Lincoln Administration.

I justify WHATEVER actions are necessary against whoever or whatever is necessary to return this nation to its proper moral governance.
You can't get moral governance from an immoral leader.

But I just want to note once more how you are rationalizing members of the justice system being physically harmed and intimidated. You are despicable.

I’m rationalizing the total extermination of ANYONE of any race, sex, age, ethnicity, etc… who gets in the way of rebuilding this nation CORRECTLY.

No quarter given or asked for. Pure and simple.
