This is a far worse loss for the Democrats than Hillarys loss though not as big a shock. Will they finally learn?

When Hillary lost, it was a bigger shock. However, she won a Primary, controlled as it was as Bernie probably would have won but a Primary nonetheless. They double down and anoint Harris, a person who received 1% in the Dem Primary in 2020? Far worse for them is that they no longer have their safe diverse cooaltion, Trump has cut deeply into the Black, Hispanic, Jewish voter, especially among men. This will resonate for generations. Will the Dems get back to their American roots and emulate the GOP meritocracy of free and open elections? Surely they learned this time...right?

Next election cycle the loons will be falling all over themselves to try and out loony each other. The left never learns.

No, they're already blaming racism, misogyny, cultism blah, blah, blah.

Hasn't dawned on them that maybe the problem is them.

Maybe...

But then again, with inflation being what it is and Trump promising everything under the sun (including that women won't somehow be lonely if he is elected), one may be able to take this as an unusual election.

I think the strategy for the Democrats going forward is to promise the moon, stars, and a few other galaxies to each and every voter regardless. Nobody (it seems) wants to hear about why the promises are bad ideas and the potential fallout of the promises from the Center for Responsible blah blah blah. While it's great to appeal to high minded folks who read books without centerfolds, more voters are to be found in other areas. Trump, to his credit, found them.

maybe Dems will promise 25 grand to new home owners and they'll pay off their student loans taken put to pay for a degree in gender and queer studies eh ?? oh ... wait a minute ..

It's truly scary that one of the worst election campaigns I've seen in my lifetime by the absolute worst candidate still got 48% of the vote.

But they threw literally EVERYTHING at Trump: Lawfare, snipers, Covid, and bogus media......none of it was ultimately successful.

But still....48% of the people voted for Harris/Walz....as if this was a real choice? As if she brought anything to the table. Not even a verified platform to run on. Nada....zilch...nothing.

Gotta be the dumbest short campaign I've ever witnessed in my lifetime.

Now inflation is an issue...? Wow... That was fast...

Hah! They never learn or admit they made a mistake. They literally are incapable of doing that.

Well, many of the Progressive Socialist entertainment people who said they will leave the United States as a show of defiance will be packing their luggage in the morning.
