She's been known as a loose cannon and for her over-the-top rhetoric and attention-getting stunts. I think she's also crossed swords with the Republican leadership and shown a complete disregard for rules and protocol in the past. I wonder what the right would say if she (or any other conservative legislator or staff member) was found to be the source of the leaks because that WOULD be a scandal.

This is just another example of how anti-American the right really is. The head of the Republican party Rush Limbaugh came right out and said he wants Obama to fail.

Ever since Obama was elected President there has been the most obstruction of legislation in our history. WHY? Was it because important legislation wasn't helpful to ALL Americans? NO, it was because Obama would have a success. Former Bush speechwriter David Frum admitted that Republicans made a collective decision to obstruct health care reform:

"At the beginning of this process we made a strategic decision: unlike, say, Democrats in 2001 when President Bush proposed his first tax cut, we would make no deal with the administration. No negotiations, no compromise, nothing. We were going for all the marbles. This would be Obama’s Waterloo – just as healthcare was Clinton’s in 1994."

And even conservative Senator Pat Toomey recently admitted in an interview that expanded background checks went down to defeat because Republicans opposed the bill out of a desire to deny the president a victory.
