This election makes the 2nd time Pelosi's failed leadership has cost Democrats the House.
The last time she lost the House she and old white Democrats pressured 2nd highest ranking House Democrat James Clyburn into surrendering his position to Pelosi so she could remain the top Dem in the House. Does she still have the clout / influence / power to pull such a move again?
If she does not retire after this term would Democrats even want her to possibly return as Speaker if / when the Democrats retake the House?
There is a lot of uncertainty regarding Pelosi's future after this loss of the House, and much of it is beyond her ability to.control.
