I am retired Military having served all over the globe and Terry Kelly brings it home to all of that served in various positions and various wars. A Pittance of Time may be Canadian but it's about every war and presented well. Give it a listen. And it's okay to tear up, I know I will.

A freaking Canadian? If you really served in the U.S. Military it's hard to not shed a tear for Kevin Bacon's remarkable portrayal of a real Marine, Lt Col Mike Strobl's account of escorting a Marine killed in combat to his final resting place. "Taking Chance" is the movie.

You have no idea what the song is about and how it applies to those Americans that fought and died all across the globe in many wars. Newsflash: I am a US Military 20+ year veteran that almost gave it all a few times. You, on the other hand, obviously, are a traitor.

Which war since WW2 --- one that the US has involved itself in --- has not been the US as the bully and greedy party ?

The US is the planet's most rapacious terrorist nation and the fact that many individuals have been loyal/.patriotic/brave is an entirely separate matter .
