The reason why it is there is because the Founding Slave Rapists couldn't agree on whether or not to have direct election of the President or have the President selected by Congress, and came up with a last minute compromise to get out of there. They quickly realized the initial configuration (which ended up with the 1800 elections being decided in Congress) didn't work and changed it with the 12th Amendment.

Now, that we've established why it wasn't a good idea, here's why it's a bad idea.

If you lived in one of the 43 NON-Swing states, your vote turned out to be meaningless. You might as well have stayed home, and 7 million or people who voted in 2020 did exactly that. This meant Harris and Trump were running for President of the Swing States, not the country at large. Which is how Palestine became a big issue in Michigan and Fracking became an issue in PA.

As of the writing of this piece, CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times, and NPR have all avoided coverage of the story. At the risk of stating the obvious, one can only imagine the fallout if a conservative had done this.

But even partisan bias can be tempered by the fear of the public outcry that would inevitably follow any attempt to defend Biden’s text messages. While Big Tech and NPR were more than willing to rush to Hunter Biden’s aid after the New York Post exposed his alleged corruption, they would not dare defend him against equally credible evidence of alleged racism. The best they can do for him is to ignore the story.

The rules for who can and who cannot use slur go something like this. If you are of “x” group, you can use any term you would like to describe said group. The only people who have the power to criticize you for your use of the word are those who are also of that group.
