As I see the continued usage of the term "TDS" for anyone who is not obediently MAGA, I'm also watching more and more trusted MAGA voices finally decide they can no longer play along.

That's good, of course, but the damage they have already done is not just excused.

With anti-Trump friends like these, who needs enemies?

You may recall my prediction years ago about the Jacobinization of the MAGA movement.

Like the Jacobins, MAGAs are becoming more and more virulent and disturbed. And just as when the Jacobins become more extreme, some MAGA people are finding their movement to be crossing a bridge too far.

Eventually, there was the infamous Reign of Terror in France where even former allies were beheaded for their apostasy.

But in the end, sanity finally returned, and the leader of the movement, Robespierre, was himself taken to the guillotine.

We should be so lucky.
