Michael Cole, “The Mod Squad” Actor, Dies at 84: 'A Defining Figure of the Era'​

Michael Cole, best known for his role in The Mod Squad, has died. He was 84.

On Dec. 10, the late actor — who made his mark as Pete Cochran in the 1960s police drama — died peacefully "surrounded by his loved ones after living a full and vibrant life," his rep confirmed in a press release.

Yeah, I don't disagree. The three however were iconic figures to that time, and a favorite to a lot of teens.

I did not know he was that old, much less, that he was dead at age 80.

I guess 3 packs a day for 50 years, a lung removed, due to cancer and COPD, will age the heck out of a guy. From the pics in Wikipedia from 2013, to East Coast Comicon in 2018, that must have been a rough 5 years.
