To get a conceal Carry Permit there should be class Training range Training and 3-5 Year Renewals ( and in Right to Carry States Permit holders should have special privileges that supersede restrictions non permit holders have to adhere to )

I'm aware of that. I don't believe he was talking about LTC's. He was saying it should be a requirement for owning firearms period. At least that's how I took it.

That is what Virginia requires of new drivers, show they know the rules and take a road test. There are plenty of drivers and no one is trying to take away their cars.
