Congress has given some of that authority to the executive through legislation, but that is not really legal.

Deportation without hearings are illegal unless voluntary.
Tariffs make no sense if the product is not even made in the US any more.
And health care is about the last thing we should make cuts in, and the military is the main hog.

The Constitution clearly gives Congress all power over funding, immigration, and tariffs.
And since the military is over 65% of the discretionary federal budget (once you take out mandatory things like SS and national debt interest), then it is military spending we need to cut.

First of all, Maduro is broke so could not afford to launch something that ambitious.
Second is that what TDA is doing here does not help Maduro, but is against him.
TDA supported the actions by the US against Maduro.
And none of the Venezuelan asylum seekers flew here.
It took them month or walking or driving.

Mail in ballots are much more "verifiable" than walk in ballots since they have a source address.
And there just as many mail in ballots in this 2024 election as there were in the 2020 election.
