Yes, let's just say that the effects of massive immigration from south of the border has produced a big change in California culture.

This state is becoming a Hispanic-majority state.

Take crime, for example. If you turn on any Los Angeles TV station for the local news, most of the violent crime is being committed by Hispanic males along with males of another ethnicity.

In many cities, the majority of law enforcement officers are now Hispanic,

The legislature is heavily influenced by Hispanic politicians.

Of course, no one is astonished by this change -- or they should not be.

Some people who speak Spanish call it the Reconquista -- reconquering the land that the United States took away from Mexico in a war (1846-1848).
