I had a bowl of cholent when I was in Israel and it gave me some serious gas

Nu?

What'd you expect, it's full of beans, legumes and sugar.

Never eat cholent in restaraunts. You’ll still be sitting there blowing at the table long after the staff has run home for Shabbat.

It looked and tasted good. The aftermath is another story...

We just go for Chinese on Shabbat. It's a bit of a walk home and cholent begins to ferment with all that exercise.

Not good. My advice is to eat it at home.

And have some matzoh ready.

Problem is I didn't learn from the first time I was in Israel. Went there about four or five times.

That was when I was young & dumb, and didn't associate the repercussions...

You don’t have to go to Israel for it. I ate some in Paris, with a Sephardic family. It was delicious.

Sorry for the most recent site outage. I broke wind again.

My flatulence seems to have an impeccable impact on this website's internet connectivity.

Sorry in advance for the next one, but I'm not giving up the beans.
