There won’t be a house rebuilt in CA any time soon

Why don't they build tenements in South Central or Watts to replace the burned homes? Perfect opportunity to reverse the previous White Flight away from the ghetto that created the honkytown of Pacific Palisades.

Los Angeles has been trying to get rid of single family homes throughout the city for years.
Correction, MIDDLE CLASS family homes. The rich can do whatever they want.

Pacific Palisades had a large percentage of middle class family homes. Look for those to get stolen by the rich and powerful so they can have nice mega mansions unsullied by the working stiffs.

There won't be any Section 8 houting in the Palisades. Bank on it.

California is for sale to foreigners at a tremendous cost of the landscape to citizens, it's really just that simple. This is major reason for the exodus despite the immigrants

How fast do you expect it's possible to start rebuilding OP?

That's not what's happening. It isn't the rich wanting more mega mansions. It's democrats and developers wanting high density low income housing and mixed use development.

That is certainly the claim now. But you watch who buys up the properties.

The wealthy who used to live there already own the properties, subject to mortgage. That's who the state wants to take the properties from.

I know. Now the middle class who owned their properties outright, but who had no insurance, will be unable to rebuild.

The rich will happily swoop in and buy the property so they can gain distance from their neighbors.

With the immigrants of course wealthy landlords are buying it up, many don't even live there, and are immigrants themselves. Rent starts at 2300ish for a dump. Approaching 3K gets rent at a new "townhouse" that looks like a prison off 5 in Sacramento. You get a view of the prison next door or a window to a freeway with no hills to speak of, homes that all look the same. The homes have retard landscapes, WTF? New ones are built with shitty materials, including the State's mandates that don't work. They literally waste water trying to save it, Ca., is just that fucked over. There are homeless people on most streets.

Aggressive driving on every street, so insurance is real expensive, never mind the property tax rip. Honest to shit someone drove into a house two doors over from my girlfriend's house. Not even six months before someone took out a tree and landscape two doors over in the other direction. It's "a nice neighborhood". It's 25 MPH neighborhood. Expect theft, and don't be surprised when garbage BAGS are thrown on your lawn. Traffic jams every day.

California is for the highest bidder, that's why Gavin was dancing for his State's fire disaster, BIG FKN money wants to buy shit up. They have no loyalty to the citizens and middle class.

Except for the fact that developers are trying to seize the properties of wealthy and Middle class alike.
