Probably even if he does.

Yet another thing he'll get blamed for.

This IS an easy answer:

This fantasy is baseless/cynical raving by Trump trying to stir up his perpetually triggered base and fear-monger in general.

There will be another depression no matter who is president if we don't get our national debt under control.

#### Likelihood of a Depression Similar to the 1930s

The likelihood of a depression similar to the 1930s is a complex and multifaceted issue. While historical events can provide insights, predicting the occurrence of a similar depression involves various factors, including economic, political, and social dynamics.

Historical Context of the 1930s Depression
The 1930s Great Depression was a period of severe economic downturn that affected many countries worldwide. It was characterized by high unemployment, deflation, and significant declines in industrial production and international trade.

Factors Contributing to the 1930s Depression
Several factors contributed to the severity of the 1930s Depression, including the impact of the Dust Bowl, exclusion of certain worker groups from social security coverage, high tariff barriers, and restrictive immigration policies.

Globalization and Economic Integration
Globalization, as an economic phenomenon, has been highlighted as a factor that can hinder or promote economic integration. The outbreak of World War I, coupled with the Great Depression, dramatically set back global economic integration, leading to a significant loss of momentum over the past 90 years or so.

#### Influence of Future Political Leadership
The influence of future political leadership on the likelihood of a depression similar to the 1930s is a subject of debate. While leadership can play a significant role in shaping economic policies and responses to potential crises, it is important to consider that the occurrence of a depression is influenced by a multitude of factors beyond the control of ANY SINGLE LEADER.

Leadership and Economic Trends
Future economic trends and the potential for a depression are likely to result from an interaction of several trends and depend on the quality of leadership. However, it's important to note that economic outcomes are influenced by a wide range of factors beyond the control of ANY SINGLE LEADER.

In conclusion, while historical events and leadership can provide insights into the potential for a depression similar to the 1930s, predicting such an occurrence involves a complex interplay of economic, political, and social factors. It's essential to consider a wide range of influences when assessing the likelihood of a similar depression in the future.

There will be a depression regardless of who is president. Only difference is trump can delay it some while Biden is racing towards it.

Our currency is too bloated, there is too much of it. Everytime you print 1 dollar you lower the value of everyother dollar by a fraction of a fraction of a fraction. Now we're just chasing numbers.

Part of our problem is our currency isn't backed by anything, it's just numbers. We used to back it with gold and silver.

Every 100 years there is a currency reset.

Plus our currency is built on a infrastructure that is very old.

Our next currency change will be when we switch to a digital currency. That change won't happen until the current one becomes useles, when it's useless we end up in a depression and ours is going to be a depression due to hyper inflation.

It's not who causes a depression, it's when we have one. Trump can hold it off and probably make it easier on us but it's going to happen.

So, Trump makes a scary statement saying that if we don't elect him, there's gonna be a depression, and you idiots believe him?

PT Barnum might have underestimated when he said "there's a sucker born every minute". Maybe he should have said there are a dozen suckers born every minute.

Nope, sorry............but Trump is selling you another con by saying he's the only person who can save things.

Yep, if we don't elect Trump there will be a depression like the world has never seen before. And if we don't elect Trump gas prices will climb to amazing heights. If we don't elect Trump Mexican immigrants are going to replace all us white people, I mean literally, replace us. If we don't elect Trump, women will no longer be able to participate in college athletics, all the sports will be dominated by the millions and millions of transgender females. But hey, who cares, cause Trump will make sure all the wummins stay at home, barefoot and pregnant, like the good lord intended.

If we don't elect Trump thousands, hell, maybe millions of kids, will have body parts chopped off, and hell I am just getting started.

I mean Trump wins, he ends the War in Ukraine overnight. When Putin calls him to congratulate him, he will promise to end the war. And peace will come to the Middle East. Hamas and Hezbollah will immediately lay down their weapons. The Palestinians and the Israelis will all come together in Jerusalem, around an olive tree, singing that song from The Grinch Stole Christmas like the Whos in Whoville.

Iran will immediately abandon their nuclear missile program, North Korea will destroy theirs, mostly because Trump will negotiate for a new Disney World in North Korea, and oh yeah, a new NBA expansion team in Pyongyang.

And China, well that is the best part. They are so scared of the mighty Trump that they will abandon their quest for Tawain, scuttle most of their Navy ships, stop working on a sixth generation fighter, and slash their military budget. But the best part, they will bring to the alter of Trump--oh yeah, I forgot, he will build one, right in front of the Lincoln Memorial, right after he replaces Jefferson's face on Mount Rushmore with his. I mean come on, Jefferson had an affair with a slave, at least Trump has the decency to only have affairs with porn stars. They will bring to that alter all the US Treasuries they hold, and burn them in a sacrificial offering to the almighty Trump.

And no one will have to pay taxes anymore. The poor won't, the rich won't, corporations won't, hell, even the middle class won't. Nope, Mexico is going to pay for everything.,

Well, I guess I have ranted enough, but hell, I am just getting started. Haven't even touched on the fact that Trump will eliminate cancer, stop heart disease, and put the first man on Pluto.
If hes elected their will be a Great Depression. You Clowns will be depressed and we will Enjoy it.

There are just some moments that are Priceless.

Yep. If Trump knew shit about the economy, he wouldn't have been begging the Fed for EVEN MORE quantitative easing, and he wouldn't have been begging them to lower interest rates EVEN MORE. Both of which would have been EVEN MORE inflationary than the help they were ALREADY giving him.

But the rubes just take everything this blatant con man says at face value, because cult.

He also told us there would be a recession if he did not win in 2020....he lied then like he is now

Conservatives have been screaming for the past while that Joe is too old and senile for the job, now you are saying that he's too young to remember his time as VP with Obama.

Which is it? Is he too young, or is he too old?

Please my tiny minded ape like poop sniffer,
Your third party will not win.
Your vote will change nothing in the major parties.
BUT, oh Ye of Tiny Mind
Your favorite among the majors loses a vote
Which is the same as a vote for your least favorite.

But you go be you
And by that I mean one stupid motherfucker.

Your favorite among the majors loses a vote
Which is the same as a vote for your least favorite.

The problem with this is you assume people have a favorite among the majors.

For most of us that refuse to vote for the duopoly, no such favorite exist.

I view the choice of picking between Trump and Biden akin to picking between syphilis or gonorrhea, or picking between being shot or being poisoned. Feel free to use which ever analogy you prefer.
