There was no letter on the bed

Eyewitnesses, Bergdahl's platoon members, saw the letter and their testimony is credible. The mystery is why this letter never made it into Bergdahl's official "investigative" file.

Anyone who says no letter existed is calling some damn good soldiers a bunch of liars. Those who deny the existence of the letter need to explain why soldiers would lie about a member of their own platoon.

There is only only liar in Bergdahl's platoon and that is Bergdahl himself.

Watching Republican Senator's this morning on Morning Joe talking about this situation.

There was no letter on the bed. Senators asked the military and they said it had been fully investigated. It never existed.

One GOP Senator said that Bergdahl looked undernourished, drugged, was mumbling and appeared to be "coerced", but didn't seem to be in any imminent danger (huh"?). This from a 90 second video shown to all Senators.

And they were asked if the White House called them and apologized for any misunderstanding and they had the hardest time saying "yes".

Joe Scarborough attacked the parents of this kid while others at the table told him to leave the kid's parents alone. Joe said the parents should have called the Pentagon and demanded care for their son (after VA funding has been cut - like that's gonna happen).

What isn't clear is whether Republicans understand that it was al Qaeda that attacked the US. To an outside observer, after 9/11, the US then attacked Iraq and the Taliban but let the leader of al Qaeda go. I never could understand that.

And finally, isn't leaving an American in the hands of Islamic Extremists what Republicans accused Obama of doing?

I think in their zeal to attack the president, Republicans are setting themselves up for very difficult explanations. How do you think they will respond?

I saw this too and Joe S. really went off the rails at Chuck Todd. ****** lives in the bubble if he thinks he would act any differently than the Bergdahls have. His kids have nothing more to worry about than getting the latest version of XBox or whatever electronic gadget they don't have yet, and a tune up for their Mercedes Benz.

But to me this story is a set up by the Obama admin. As I posted on a different thread, the real story is why we even know about it. 95% of what happens inside the Beltway is not reported to the American public, so why this? Who has to gain by it? That's the story.

I personally believe he expected a "rah rah" type of response....like he did with the killing of Bin Laden. He lost some points over the VA scandal....albeit, the VA was not necessarily his fault...it was the fault of Washinghton for decades.....but he figured if he brought home an American Soldier, people would take his name off the VA scandal and instead talk about how he jeopardized his political legacy by ignoring a law in an effort to rescue one of their own...

I don't think he expected his platoon leader and others to come out and say "you saved that ************????"

They were told to lie about it, and threatened if they did not. They chose to go public because they are real Americans, and real military, and they were disgusted.

you're a ******* liar.

provide proof, or wear the label

do you ever feel bad for what you are? you make shit up willy-nilly to support your asinine positions, refuse to acknowledge facts, and contribute nothing of value. frankly if i knew you personally i'd be embarrassed for you. as it is i just wonder why you come here if it's just to lie?

Not lie about it.
They signed a nondisclosure agreement, agreeing to never share any information about Bergdahl's disappearance and the efforts to recapture him.
They decided this was too important and are ignoring the agreement.

How about this, maggot breath

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...sure-agreement-deserted-post-Afghanistan.html

The soldiers in Bowe Bergdahl's platoon were made to sign a highly unusual non disclosure agreement covering his disappearance in an apparent attempt to cover-up what happened.

Two soldiers MailOnline has spoken to said that the letter was passed round by commanders to those close to Sgt Bergdahl, who was freed last week after five years of being held by the Taliban.

The ploy has backfired after a number of soldiers spoke out regardless in angry Facebook messages and media interviews.

MailOnline has already disclosed how the family of one of the six soldiers who died searching for Sgt Bergdahl in Afghanistan were lied to about what happened to their son.

The parents of Second Lieutenant Darryl Andrews said that they were initially told told he was killed whilst hunting for a Taliban commander as part of a cover up that was ‘just like Benghazi’, a reference to the controversial 2012 assault of the US embassy in Libya which left four dead.

You're a scumbag piece of shit

gosh, is a non-disclosure statement the same thing as a threat and being told to lie?
that's a 'no'

and those parents may claim they were lied to. do they have proof? are there any orders, records, or first hand testimony that back up their claim?
grow up. use facts to support your opinions. real ones. not made up bullshit.

Fellow soldiers call Bowe Bergdahl a deserter, not a hero - CNN.com

When the parents of a KIA Soldier ask you how he died and you tell them it had nothing to do with Bergdahl, that's a lie.

No matter how you slice it, it's a lie.

And being forced to sign a non-disclosure agreement proves it beyond ANY doubt.

you should know that nda's are not rare. after all, you do claim to be former special forces.

further, the claim that anyone died in a search for Bergdahl has not been corroborated by any official source.

It does not matter now if Bergdahl left a note on his bed. The retards already believe he did and there is NOTHING you can do about it. Chalk up another success for Obama Derangement Syndrome.

They chow down on manufactured bullshit so much they think real facts are lies.

You see, when a person believes their side cannot possibly lie, this makes them easily manipulated. And if you dare to present actual facts to them, or point out they are drinking a lot of piss and eating a lot of manufactured bullshit, they will call you an asshole and come after you with a vengeance.

So you are too late. The actual existence of a note on the bed is no longer material in their belief system.

"Duhhhhh...we has questions!"

No they don't. They believe they already have all the answers.

Did bergdahl leave a note ?

I have not heard a credible source confirm that rumor as of yet.

Good point. Although it was the New York Times that broke that news. Usually the Times lies in favor of the regime though. Is the NYT credible or not?

I thought about this and it does seem that the NYT is the only source of the note report. Could be they meant the email sent to his parent but that is not what is being reported. So why would they report it? First of all I doubt they would have realized how far this story would go and how vitriol the defense from the left.

Second, it might be a false flag. In other words just like Clinton started the Kenya BS and Obama so could have the NYT started this rumor. Then when it is picked up by the rest of the MSM and proved to be incorrect the flying monkeys will only blame the right wing outlets forgetting totally it was the left wing rag that started it. If that is the case then hats off to their propaganda minister.

So in the end, either there is a note or the NYT for some reason made up the story, why?

Conservatives here now trust and even cite a Taliban propaganda video as proof that Sgt Bergdahl is not only a deserter, but a traitor as well. Can you imagine that? They've taken the Taliban at their word as if they couldn't possibly be lying. These people are either idiots or disloyal Americans. But I can't deny the very real possibility that they're both of those things.

The far right's attitude on this issue is very bad for the U.S.

Goodness gracious.

Of course there wasn't. They suspected the kid was gay and ran him off.

"Misunderstanding"? There was no misunderstanding between the Obama Administration and Congress! Barry decided to do this deal because his group of idiots mistakenly thought it would be great PR. They didn't tell anyone over on Capital Hill that they were going to pull the trigger on it because they KNEW that every time a prisoner swap had been suggested before there had been strong bipartisan opposition to it. This deal was done for strictly political reasons. It was done because the Obama Administration was taking so much heat about the VA scandal that they desperately needed something to "change the narrative". The thing that's telling is that this group of SUPPOSEDLY intelligent people didn't understand how trading five high level terrorists for one low level deserter was going to outrage so many people.
